A London and West Country based theatre company, founded by Robert Gordon Clark and Lisa Day in 2020.
Our aim is to produce modern classics, rediscovered gems and new writing, and to support young talent in the theatre industry.
LATEST NEWS: PlayGC Theatre Company and the Alan Davidson Foundation are delighted to
announce the launch of a new £60,000 UK Theatre Writing bursary called the Davidson PlayGC Bursary
which has been established to support theatres and writers to produce new work. The first bursary of £20K has just been awarded to the
Royal Court Theatre in London whose new Artistic Director, David Byrne has selected the young playwright Oli Forsyth as the recipient. Oli's new play BRACE BRACE will be premiered from Thursday 3 October to Saturday 9
November in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs at the Royal Court.
PLUS Our award-winning show Glory of the Garden (which won the 'Best Spoken Word Performance' Award at The Shaftesbury Fringe 2023) is due to go out on tour in the early Summer of 2024.
AND PlayGC Theatre Company is due to be taking The Letter of Last Resort to an off Broadway Theatre in New York next Spring.

Sam studied Drama at The University of Manchester before performing with the National Youth Theatre. He then trained at Guildford School of Acting where he graduated with a Distinction in 2019. He now works as an actor in theatre and film. Credits include: Unholy (Music Video - Sam Smith and Kim Petras, 2022), Candide (Scottish Opera, 2022), Dead Boy Cafe (2022), From Rushmere With Love (Sir John Mills Theatre, Eastern Angles, 2021-22), Pretty Shrewd (Vienna's English Theatre, 2019-20), Not That Strange (DIY Shakespeare at RSC's 'The Dell' Festival), Trevor (short film, 2019), Hansel in Hansel and Gretel (Bigfoot Arts Education) and Tape (feature film, 2015).
